The experience Goddard Leaders students will gain from the Goddard Leadership Legacy Institute is intended to extend beyond the five day program and lay the groundwork for continued leadership involvement in the community, at school, and at home. The program will provide opportunities for students to volunteer for their local watershed associations or other environmental organizations, initiate projects on their own as a team or individually, and participate in school-based programs such as Envirothon.
Post-program opportunities include:
- The Chesapeake Bay Foundation’s Student Leadership Program
- Envirothon PA, Cumberland County Envirothon, Adams County Envirothon, Franklin County Envirothon, Perry County Envirothon, Dauphin County Envirothon, and York County Envirothon
- Volunteer service projects organized by partner organizations
- Independent or team-based community action projects
